  • You can mix essential oils with a carrier oil, such as coconut oil, and rub it over your stomach. It’s a nice massage and delivers the comforting properties where you need it most.
  • You can also place a few drops on your wrist
  • Create a soothing herbal tea by adding a few drops of essential oil to your tea.
  • Create a blend in a roller bottle with 2-4 of the below oils, add some carrier oil and keep in your purse when you are traveling or out and about and need some digestive support.

Blends and Recipes Using Essential Oils for Stomach Pains

Tummy Upset Inhaler
7 drops Basil essential oil 7 drops Peppermint essential oil Blank Inhaler Directions: Add drops to inhaler wick, place wick into inhaler. To use, take a deep breath, keep cap on when not in use to preserve the aroma.
After Dinner Digestion Blend
4 drops Roman Chamomile essential oil 4 drops Cardamom essential oil 3 drops Ginger essential oil 1 drop Peppermint essential oil 1 oz carrier oil 1 oz dropper bottle Directions: Add all ingredients into dropper bottle, place dropper top on. Roll bottle between palms to blend. To use, apply in a clockwise motion to belly.   

Digestive Delight Support Roller

2 drops Cardamom 2 drops Ginger 2 drops distilled Lime 10 ml jojoba oil 10 ml Roller bottle Directions: Add essential oil drops to roller bottle, fill the rest of bottle with jojoba oil. Place rollerball on, roll bottle between palms of hands to blend together. To use, roll on forearms and wrists, take a few deep breaths to inhale the aroma.
